Kinon thought that she had lost her sister in the maze that was the Government building. But Kiyal had been on her tail. Ever since that unspeakable event, Kinon had been avoiding pretty much everyone she knew. It wasn’t good. It wasn’t healthy.
Yet Kinon wasn’t ready to come to terms with anything. Kittan was alive. He was just skipping work again. At the end of the week she would do his paperwork, give him a call. Leave a voice message letting him know and the cycle would repeat.
Her sister had cornered her into her office, her back pressed against the door pushing all her weight onto it to keep it shut, despite it being locked. She couldn’t do it. Kinon couldn’t look at her sister knowing their brother was gone.
“ G-go away Kiyal...! I’m busy..! ”
