One of Caius' happiest memories in the tower was when somehow Leo decided to hang out with him again after their first awkward fist-fight slash fuck session. Caius was more than used to people just fucking and leaving (himself included) but they met up with each other in the bar the following night as well. Whether or not it was on purpose is still up for debate, but they didn't fuck that night. They just sat and drank their weight in liquor and shared stories about the weird shit they'd both had to do on the job. Caius' temper burns hot, and he's pretty sure he's burned something belonging to everyone in the tower because they've pissed him off bad enough. The only exception might be Leo, then again he doesn't have full recall when he's wasted, so that might not be accurate. Whether or not Caius will actually admit it, Caius is ridiculously devastated that his parents had no issues paying the MacNamaras off to sweep their darling baby boy out of their hands. He thinks about it almost every day and wonders where he'd be right now if he'd just been allowed to calm the fuck down. Perhaps that was why he's never seen Leo in that light, because he's never actually felt the romantic sort of love. (He does love Leo, obv, but in a different way.) But lately, with the introduction of Nico and Ben into his life, he's all of a sudden going from this mostly heartless asshole who has no problem setting buildings on fire with small children inside of them to actually caring about another human's feelings.
