I did it!!!! I FINALLY finished my animated character line up from Katherine Arden’s The Bear and the Nightingale!!!! I wish it was a surreal, dark, and rich animated film with all sorts of magic in it!!

Vasya will choose a third way: magic... I really liked this book, it is magical and dark at the same time. It's beautifully written a great sequel to The Bear & the Nightingale. Vasya has grown up as a character & she is more wise than before. The story picks up shortly after the events of book 1. I loved how the authir blended history & fantasy.It made the book read like a fairy tale & a true story simultaneously. Some of the themes in the book are family, friendship & trust. I really liked the bond that Vasya has with her family & her friendship with Solovey. #bookreview Hey everyone, Happy weekend!! I finally finished the Winternight Trilogy, and oh my god! What a fantastic series. I am devastated crying; but laughing too, and completely in love with the characters. I love the representation of Russian culture and folklore. The final book , The Winter of the Witch ended on a really sad but beautiful note. Their was grief, but also hope and light for future. It was just amazing. Katherine Arden's writing is so heart touching. I can say for sure that, these 3 books are equally beautiful as the covers. There are 5-star books and there are 5-STAR books where you immediately go back and skim the entire book in case you missed quotes you want to tab. The Winter of the Witch by @arden_katherine is one of those 5-STAR books. The Bear and the Nightingale is still my favorite book of the series but believe me when I say this was a perfect conclusion.
