I absolutely adore books when I can feel the chemistry between the main characters. Every interaction between Beck and Jolie had me swooning, smiling, kicking up my feet, and enjoying all the banter and wicked HOT chemistry between them. And boy, did The Wildest One deliver!!

Beck Weston is Captain for the LA Whales and one of hockey’s best players, not to mention he is a silent partner in the Weston Business with his siblings. But when he sees a stunning redhead at a bar in Boston, he approaches her and propositions her into spending the next few days and nights with him. And what woman in her right mind would say no to Beck Weston?

Jolie is out with a friend at a local bar after watching her Boston team lose, when none other than Beck Weston approaches her with a proposition of a lifetime. Spend the next few days with him letting him enjoy her body while she shows him what she loves about Boston. Even though she may be busy, Jolie can’t say no to this hockey God. And what follows is some delicious physical chemistry, and real moments between them that will singe your fingertips!!

I wasn’t sure how the rest of their story was going to play out, there’s a little bit of an age gap between them, both of them are very busy individuals, and they live on opposite sides of the country.

But the way Marni Mann pulls this off was phenomenal. I loved the texting they do back-and-forth. And I especially liked the way they are constantly thinking about each other. I was a goner for this couple. I was cheering them on! I couldn’t put it down!
