“I’m just saying that a few days alone wouldn’t be that bad.” Nathan shrugged a little bit, his soft gaze on the form of his husband. They hadn’t had a break from the kids in god knows when, Nate couldn’t remember the last time he had had alone time for himself, let alone alone time with Tristan. “Even if it’s just for a night, I’ll take that too.” He was almost begging. Honestly he would just be happy with falling asleep in the mans arms without having to worry about anyone relying on them for a few hours.

“Come on babe, please let me give you fare money. I mean it’s a pain for you to have to come from the other side of the city to get here,” Theo complained. The bus ride from Tribeca to the north side of Manhattan was a pain, and he knew the ride well by now. He loved the culture of Tavin’s side of the island, but he enjoyed his safe haven on his side. His big tribeca apartment handed down to him after his father had died though he didn’t start living in it until college as he previously lived with his aunt and her family. 

Nathaniel knew why Matt and Selena were doing this. They were being sly about it. But, he knew. He’d seen pictures of Billie before so he didn’t understand why Selena and Matt thought she’d be interested in him. They were asking him to shoot very far above his league. Besides, he still wasn’t sure he even could have romantic feelings for anyone other than Adelaide. However, he knew Adelaide wouldn’t want him spending the rest of his life alone and wishing for what couldn’t be. So, he decided to give this as fair of a shot as he could.
