Hide It Under a Frozen Bushel
Does anyone else think it's fucked up that in Frozen, the first idea the king and troll leader guy decide is to mask Elsa's magic and hide her away from everyone? Teaching her that she must be controlled and such? You're telling me these weird rock trolls don't know ANY good witches or sorceress' that can teach her how to use her powers in a positive, loving way, as opposed to shaming her natural abilities and teaching her to be afraid of herself? Yet kids eat this shit up for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I know the love story is about the love between siblings, but it just strikes me as odd that they would outright justify the very act that screwed her up mentally in the first place. What kind of example is that?
