"Hi... don't I know you from somewhere?"

It was the middle of the night, but Jim couldn't sleep. He'd never been one for much sleep, but this was ridiculous. He was shattered, but stuck on the sofa with a book, hoping it would help him drift off. He ran a hand through his hair, checking the time. 2AM. Wonderful. Just as he was about to give up and make a cup of tea the door knocked. No one ever came calling to his flat, not without warning him first, and not at this time of night. He slowly went to the door, checking to see who it was.

//Ah, don’t be! I’m pretty scared of leaping into people’s askboxes and stuff, but I find that people don’t bite as hard as you think they will, if they do at all. c: I’m about as intimidating as a puppy, I promise.

Napoleon leaned back against the wall in the alleyway humming quietly to himself. His fingers tapped against the bricks behind him as he waited for the next stranger to pass by. His throat was dry an his fangs sharp as his tongue traced along them. He'd not drank in a few days and whilst he had no intentions of leaving anyone dead, he intended to have his fill.
