#housearryn of #theeyrie in #thevale. A falcon and moon on a sky blue field. Our tour takes us to the Vale, or as I like to think of it, the New England of Westeros. Hope of salted mutton, sheep shit, and Petyr Baelish's psycho ass, this is where the Andals first landed. Arryn is a house descended by the Andals (Westeros's version of Catholics) and the Falcon Knight of antiquity. I have seen a few different versions of this banner, some with a white falcon and crescent moon, others with a falcon against a full moon. This was one of the first animal drawings I was proud of and kept it, going with the moon as a backdrop. If memory serves correctly, I looked up the colors and the falcon was sky blue and the moon was white. In a rare move, I opted against the description and went with cream for the moon. And yes, I know The Eyrie is made of white and blue marble and that's where the colors are derived from. My head was in a weird place at the time (I had just moved and was at my parents again). I just like how this one looks. #gameofthrones (at Saint Louis Park, Minnesota) https://www.instagram.com/shieldfactory/p/BqxH-Q9gcBQ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=pe0bbdqpn3bt
