I'm torn between laughing my ass off at the irony and being mildly smitten with myself for even thinking of a decent title after 2+ years. 

Since the big baddy is The Mår, I was like, 'well that's the truth of the Mårter' and then started maniacally giggling to myself. BUT WAIT. The Truth of the Matter? THAT'S ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD

So, each girl has their own unique specialty when it comes to poltergeist hunting.

Addy is a physical fighter. She uses something like a meteor hammer as her primary weapon, along with relying on her fists and her feet. Her secondary weapon is The Occulous, the device handed down through the men of her family to trap spirits. 

Chelsea uses a scythe. Plain and simple. She's a big girl (tall and chubby), so she tends to put all of her weight behind her attacks and she fucking rocks it. She doesn't know any sort of martial arts/formal combat moves like Addy does. 

Jayne is a very rare form of poltergeist hunter. She is a witch, able to summon spirits and demons to fight for her. Only women can be born witches. Most witches use their powers to combat the poltergeist hunters, one of the many reasons that female hunters are typically shunned. However, that's not to say there haven't been a few famous good witches in the hunter community. Unfortunately they are a rare commodity. Jayne would be one of them, if it wasn't for her relationship with Izavel. Of all three girls, Jayne is the least physically capable fighter. She relies solely on her powers.
