John and I go back farther than anyone else either of us know, except for Jade, who brought all of us together. He has been one of my closest friends for over a decade, and last February he allowed me the distinct honor of calling him my boyfriend. We danced around the term for a long time, and it has been an incredible relief to finally put all pretenses aside. We compliment each other in nearly every way, and he has been such an inspiration to me as long as I’ve known him. Though the freedom his aspect brings defines him nicely, I think mine would suit him as well. He has faced every darkness the multiverse has thrown at him with a smile, and has come out of it shining brighter than ever. I am going to stop myself before I wax too poetic, but my final word is John Egbert has brought such joy to my life, and I can only hope I can reflect at least some of it back in his direction.
