this just made me happy as hell, i love nemuri <3

in my heart shes a trans woman. realized that she was trans sometime after she started puberty, at ~12/13 or so, when she started experiencing some of the strongest dysphoria imaginable. tho, i imagine she didnt immediately come out due to having a transphobic/queerphobic mother, n when she did her mom expectedly didnt accept her in the slightest, which, for her dad, was the final nail in coffin that finalized their impending divorce. her dad ended gaining full custody of nemuri afterwards, since at the time she was still underage (17) n he refused to leave her w her mom.

on the topic of her mom, i do have a tendency to swing between making nemuri look like her mom (for angst) n making her look more like her dad. i also imagine that nemuri had a strained relationship w her mom, due to the aforementioned queerphobia, but also cause her mom would often put a lot of pressure on nemuri to do well in school (pressure that only got worse once nemuri entered u.a), before verbally degrading her when she inevitably fucked up.

i do think shes closer w her dad, whos way more kind than her mom, n has been pretty supportive when it came to nemuri n her queerness, as well as her goal to be a pro hero. im ngl, i dont have much of a developed dynamic between these two in comparison to nemuri n her mom, so i wont be saying much about them other than the fact that i think her dad sometimes fucks up n calls her the wrong term on occasion, but still tries his best (ie: will sometimes call her bisexual instead of pan, polygamous instead of polyamorous, etc)

now, for my shorter/more general hcs :)

i think shes an only child, i just cant see her having a sibling at all tbh n w the way i characterize her parents i dont think they would want more than one child.

i inexplicably think she was an accident baby, theres just something about her that just screams that her parents didnt plan for her at all. i also think she was born at midnight, or sometime after midnight such as 1am. specifically either midnight on the dot or at like, 1:17am.

she has a cat allergy, its not severe enough that it gets in the way of her caring for sushi, but definitely enough to be inconvenient as hell for her to care for him. she takes allergy medicine for it.

her favorite animals are cats n bunnies, she thinks theyre both cute. she also loves leopards for being “sexy”, tho noone knows for sure what she she means by “sexy” in this case?

she doesnt particularly care for children, she thinks theyre nice n sometimes cute, n will still treat them nicely, but otherwise doesnt care for them. she only really accepted nezus offer of becoming a teacher because she wanted to help guide the next generations of heroes.

definitely has some sort of paraphilia, tbh. she prolly has a few paraphilias related to common kinks such as humiliation, sadism n degradation, but i dont know if she would have paraphilias related to anything else
