One evening, under parental strain, Lance Black nearly set the kitchen ablaze while cooking dinner, the flames licking dangerously close before they were extinguished. As if that wasn’t enough, both he and Tom Daley found themselves on the brink of losing their jobs, as their bosses issued stern warnings: another missed day to look after Phoenix, and they’d be out the door! (The Sims 1 really doesn't do parental leave—or sick days, for that matter!).
Despite the pressures, Phoenix flourished, growing into a playful and whimsical child. He had a flair for the fantastical, donning a wizard’s hat, speckled with stars. The dads extended Robbie’s bedroom for the two brothers to share.
