I wasn't trying to educate you on black issues I was literally just making a comparison. if you want to reclaim "blacks" for yourself thats fine. all I'm saying is that there are many, many lgbtqiap people who are uncomfortable with being called "queer people" much less being called "queers" because of the violent history of the word as a slur. I don't "need you" to be super awful and gross but you are so it's nice how that works out :)

Your comparison is flawed, because as a queer person, Petra should be allowed to use it how she wants. Yes, have a discussion about it, because of the history, but you came at her like she was a straight person using it. This shit happens all the time. Â Iâm fucking bi. Â Iâm not some heteronormative shit head because I like a m/f ship. I donât even read either character as straight. I like women in my stories so I gravitate toward f/f and m/f. Â Like, seriously can yâall think about that kind of thing for one second before attacking people and making generalizations?Â
And if we want to talk about queer teens and young adults, there ARE a lot of them who are into this ship and maybe some of them use it as a way to explore that sexuality and their attraction to Molly without being super obvious about it and having to come out.  Maybe they donât even know yet.  Maybe they donât knwo if they want to fuck Sherlock or be Sherlock. Maybe they want to explore their sexuality with a ship that involve someone with a vagina, because they have one too and think itâs kind of nifty.Â
Like, Iâm just so fucking TIRED of people not thinking about this and just attacking us as a bunch of straight, cis homophobes who want a white knight to save us and give us babies.Â
