@firebred walked a long way for a visit with the kazekage ----
and when it was announced to him that she was visiting, after so many months of being away, his heart dares jump up to his throat and hover there for a moment. there was always some distinct closeness between he and karui -- and an unannounced visit didn’t lend much time for him to adjust.Â
but he stands when she walks through the door of his office, a small smile curving his lips all too gently as their gazes match. ‘ -- karui; how was your trip?’Â
