Easy as Pie, Piece of Cake Offers Detroit-Style Pizza Reimagined
Pizza lovers have always been spoilt for choices here in Metro Manila. We are mostly familiar with the big chains like Pizza Hut, Shakey’s, and the homegrown Greenwich. There’s also the popular New York-style pizzas from Yellow Cab and S&R with their thin crusts and big slices. But I just recently discovered another unique way of preparing and serving pizza that I had not seen before. This time, I’m having a luxurious Detroit-style Pizza from a restaurant with a name that sounds just as interesting - Easy as Pie, Piece of Cake.
“Easy as Pie, Piece of Cake” is a mindset that is carried by the owners of this quirky pizza restaurant. Chef Aaron Lau, who once worked at db Bistro Moderne by Daniel Boulud in New York, and wife Nikki Oropesa-Lau have always had this idea of taking simple food and transforming it to the next level using unpretentious methods. This modern-luxe pizzeria has reimagined the unique Detroit-style pizza. EAPPOC was actually born during this global pandemic, having started operations late last year by looking at the current situation with a silver lining.
Yall I love these books. They're so much fun and full of joy. The Bromance Series is right up themmre with Talia Hibbert's Brown Sister books as my favorite romance series. Isn't It Bromantic focuses on a perennial fan favorite #TheRussian aka Vlad. Mostly relegated to comic relief in the first 3 books now we get a glimpse into Vlad his sweetness and tender heart bruised from a "marriage of convenience" with his childhood best friend can he convince Elena to take a chance on the real thing. This book was amazing. I read it in basically a day. I couldn't put it down. The bathroom scene and the bros talking about Vlad's "magnificent ass" will honestly be one of my favorite scenes for a long time. Also can I please get more Malcolm? When he starts giving a clinic on toxic masculinity it really is quite sexy. 5/5 #IsntItBromantic #LyssaKayAdams #BromanceBookClub #romancenovel #romcom #RileyMiles #dogsofinstagram #nerdymama #nerdybooks #booknerd #bookstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CRsAJsEL8by/?utm_medium=tumblr

The beautiful prince had been drawn to the deck of the ship, a small hum leaving him. It had been many moons since his marriage to the captain and their bond had grown stronger each day. Even though the Naga now loved the wolf, he still played along to the game of cruel captain when in front of the crew. They seemed to like the unbroken defiant role he played during it even though behind those doors to his room, there was no cruelty but love in it's place. The Prince leaned on the railing of the ship as he watched the waves of his lost home, feeling the wind in his long locks and the salt from the sea hitting his face. The crew seemed to let him be since that night of his... forced mating. Except for one, a new member. Ki couldn't remember his name but only his kindness. The boy was young, about fifteen or sixteen but looked much younger. He was clumsy, awkward but a loyal man. He seemed to have taken a liking to Niko when they first met at a small town four months ago, always having wanted adventure He was the Cabin boy since the other one was... well killed by his heart being ripped out. He was a fine cook and kept the ship as clean as it could be. The Naga heard footsteps and looked over, only to be greeted with a small hand full of sea shells. His eyes were wide at the sudden action but a smile was brought onto his lips. "I... I gathered these for you at the last port." The sweet meek voice rang out of that boy. Did Ki see a blush? A laugh couldn't help but raise from the Naga. He looked so innocent and shy, it made the prince laugh.
Ki felt guilty of his laughter if he had to be honest, the boy looked to be in utter confusion but Ki waved a dismissing hand before taking them gently. "Thank you." The prince spoke softly as he examined them. "They are very pretty." Ki was beaming, glowing as he stared at the shells.
deadly affair || Kia & Niko
It had been nearly a year since she had been gone. A deadly mission as a spy had called her away to China, away from Russia and the man she had fallen in love with. She could tell as she walked in, that his right hand man was clearly displeased with her return. She just gave him a smirk as she walked with a hum. She made her way to the boss' s office, to see it empty. A pout to her red painted lips was formed as she graced her delicate yet deadly fingers against his desk. She knocks over the picture frame of the beautiful wife with a smirk, wishing her dead as she walked over to the balcony. She leaned against it, looking out as she waited. It wasn't until she heard footsteps that she turned her head.
Beautiful lie || Kia/Ki and Niko
When would he be able to leave and go home? The fox demon stared at himself in the mirror, the woman's garments that he wore barely fit. He sighed, fingers playing with silk. For ten years he had played the part of a woman. A dead child that he took form to hide from his seekers. He had grown his black locks down to his lower back. One. Two. Nine beautiful blue glowing tails waved around him as he fixed his hair. He hated the long days of playing coy and acting like he even cared about what the Empress had to say. It was the same thing Everton. Because she had never even left the w onderous place. Not even to greet the foreign newcomers. They came to trade but one had befriended the Emperor and he was granted entry to their forbidden city and granted to protect the Empress and her maidens. He was one of them. Well. Not in this form of course. He used his power of shape shifting to form a womanly body as a visual acceptance. After all, it would be wrong for a man to befriend the empress. He heard footsteps and he gasped, quickly hiding his tails and shifting into a beautiful Chinese Maiden, some would say she outshined the Empress herself. She ran to the beaded curtian and peered out. "Yes?"
