Golem Update

Yesterday was like. THE bad mental health day Of All Time. Like. Not since the peak of the seizure year have I had a day that bad. BUT ☝️ I got an emergency session with my therapist and had a bunch of mac'n'cheese and then slept for 12 hours so I am doing much much better now. 🤞

But it reminded me I had some new golems to post, so I have posted them this morning in case anyone else could use some emotional support golems in these trying times.

Current golems are still up on my Ko-Fi page, and you can still use the Ko-Fi page to order a commission/custom golem. Deeply interested in doing another biblically-accurate-angel golem.

NEW golems are now on the new Ebay page. (Trying out Ebay for now just to see if the back-end process, searchability, etc is any better/different. Not sure yet if I will stick with it or port everything back to Ko-Fi).

Not sure yet if/how I can do discount codes for Ebay. In the meantime, if you order from there, just mention in the order notes that you're coming from Tumblr, and I'll refund you 18%. Because reasons.

Anyway. That's what's up with me. Doin' the therapy. Eating the food. Digging holes in my backyard for the exercise / emotional catharsis. Making my dog do physical therapy for her elderly hips. Makin' golems.

Y'all have had a bad week and there's not much I can do about it from a thousand miles away. But one thing I can do is get some golems into the hands of people who could use them.

Seizure Golems 👆

Back in March 2023, I had a seizure.

It sucked.

Then I had 324 more.

It is now end of 2025. Thanks to various treatments (which took 11 months to access because healthcare is hecc), I haven't had a seizure in over a year.

Which doesn't mean it's over and everything is fine. I still get seizure auras and have to act FAST to keep them from developing into a full on episode. It is deeply annoying. And tiring. And I'm friggin MAD about it.

So rather than eat the anger, I am making art. Here are three seizure golems I made a couple weeks ago. The zig zaggy overlapping angles are kinda like what the inside of my brain looks like during an event. It is deeply annoying. But the golems are very satisfying to look at. So I guess making art helps.

(I promise I'm not still, like, suuuper depressed these days. I just hate December. January will be better).

I spent the day of inauguration ignoring the news. I have no good words for what's happening, but I have hands, so I'm making golems.
