Why You should Support the Spin Off series "The Patakis" I don't want to see the Patakis Spin off because: Arnold and Helga are going to break up: Let's take a pause here and reflect something. • Craig Barlett is going to be the creator of the series. He knows his stuff, He even said it would be dark but with humor. • Yes, Breakups do happen and in this case SHOULD Happen for growth and character development on both sides. • This in NO WAY, means that Arnold is dead...or that they will NEVER get back together. I just don't understand why this is such a deal breaker for most people. • Helga has issues, DOI and of course she needs to deal with them in this show. I don't think that the show will have ZERO Humor or that it will feel LESS like Hey Arnold. If anything this is an expansion of the story. It's too Dark of a show: • Arnold is an orphan • He lives with his grandparents in (let's call it the Ghetto) • In the end of Operation Ruthless, Helga learns that no matter how hard you try, the reality is, if you are doing bad, you will get what you deserve. • Pigeon man, lives by himself and only wants to talk to birds because to him, people are bad until he meets Arnold. • Monkey man (Too tired to explain but you get it) • Stoop Kid, afraid to leave • Grandpa was in the war, and yes he...was with someone who was not Gertie (Reminder this was a kids show) and insert the Hitler fight scene... • Miriam DRINKS smooties and it's mentioned so much, plus the fact that she's always slummed over. • Mr Hyunh, Lost his daughter...That is DARK...DARK for a children's show. Like...FOR REAL? So off with that mess about how you don't want to watch the Patakis because it is dark. Give the Spin off a chance, you don't know how it's going to be played out. I mean, we always see the Patakis and yes even though there are some rooted drama in it, Craig Bartlett always made sure to add humor and to tell a story. • I can go on with this list but I'm going to stop here. if anyone wants to add more, feel free! Its been a bit, I have started playing with digital drawing. I love pencil and paper, but I really need to master how to draw digitally. So I made a Helga to practice, thought I would share her. She is cute :)
