How wonderful is it That God gave us the Moon and the stars, That no matter how dark it gets, After the sun sets, There is still light, if we only look up. 🌙🌌 ⚫Hey guys. Lately I've been going through some downs on my rollercoaster ride through life (reason why I've been absent). But then one night as I went outside to catch a breath, I looked up at the sky, and I saw the Moon and the stars sparkling against the vast darkness and it was just like God was reminding me that He will always give light even in the darkest of moments. Which is the inspiration for this painting and the poem in it 🙂 I know some of you must be going through some darkness in your life, so I hope this reminds you, that no matter how dark it could get, there is still light if we only look up. ⚫I have always seen art as a gift from God, a blessing, if you will, which I am very grateful for. Painting has been one of my passions since young and it wasn't until secondary school that I fell in love with poetry too, as a means of self expression. Even though I haven't written poetry in a long time, I've been wanting to pick it up again and I feel adding it to art, such as what I've done in this piece, seems like a pretty good idea. I can't wait to do more art in this style. 😀 There's also a phrase that I'd like to quote here. It's from Leo Buscaglia, an author, and he said; "Your talent is God's gift to you.
