Okay, SO. I have so much more product than I would have ever thought Iād have in a million years. Surprisingly, I do the beauty thing. A while back in January, I was given my first Beauteque beauty bag for the month of February. Due to their delay in shipments, they gave us two free gift items. So my gift items actually arrived before the box is even released. Fun, right?
Today I shall be covering Peelosoft XP Cotton Swab Mild Shot by MediHeal. It certainly SOUNDS cool right?! Well...no. The title makes it sound ten times cooler than what it is. The packaging definitely helped. Ā As far as directions go, follow the pictures. All the actual directions are in Korean on the back with tidbits of English on the front. Ingredient wise, they are both in Korean and English on the right side of the box.Ā
Peelosoft XP Cotton Swab Mild Shot is a little blue package of 4 giant, mutant looking cotton swabs and a vial of 7% AHA-BHA liquid. They seem pretty proud of their mutant swabs, saying it is two times bigger than the standard swabs you can find in the grocery store. The vial looks like you could squirt it out due to the long cap but apparently you take off the cap and dip in the cotton swab for 3-5 seconds then swab your face. They have a suggestive pattern of swabbing pictures on the back of the box. The product claims it is a mild peel with no wash, it whites the complexion and clears up acne. I had to google the full process on how to use this and they do recommend you use this after washing your face then proceeding with your skin care routine.
LET ME TELL YOU HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS! Just say no. Pick a god and beg them to have mercy on my skin because no, it saying mild does not mean anything to me. I do not have frequent acne, just occasional skin disorder acne from time to time. I canāt fix it aside from possibly being gross and extracting said stuff. Skinās weird. I am a patchy, sensitive, desert dry type which I will repeatedly tell you over and over again because this might work for you but it did not for me.
This product made my face feel like leather. End of story. I opened it, the contents were slightly under pressure in the vial so when I cracked it open, it began to foam under the cap. I wiped it off and the vial was STICKY as hell that I had to wash it. Thereās not a lot of liquid in the bottle, I assume enough for the 4 cotton swabs. Sadness. I applied according to directions that I understood. It stung a little bit. The liquid feels sticky, then tacky on the face. By the time it has fully dried, I had a weird smooth but leathery texture to my face. Yes, no. Do not want. Eventually, the product made me itch and I had to wipe it off. Surprisingly, my face wasnāt too dried out after I did so. However, it did turn slightly pink in the swabbing and stayed pink throughout the ordeal. At least Iād never need blush.
Mm, would I buy this? Maybe. That is a very slight maybe. Results were bearable but I felt like it served no purpose. Perhaps because I do not have the right environment for it to work. I could not say. Iāll keep the other 3 swabs and either way for my face to be allĀ āBLARGHā or Iāll just use it up and all it a week.
Iām trying to get my mother to let me try it on her.
Next up? Healing Tea Gardenās Green Tea Tissue by the SAEM. Stay tuned!

Wouldn't say I'm back but I am saying hello. It is 2024, 4 years after COVID-19, and I am around. I am considering rejoining the beauty realm but for now, I have backed off a little bit. My beauty boxes have closed up shop, so coming across them is incredibly hard and I have made purchases individually in the past couple of years. Should I come back to this, you'll know first as long as you follow!
Not all of the lines in a brand will have silicone but a bunch of them do. Following the silicone parade, there can also be sulfate (if that's your concern) and parabens. I worry most about silicone cause I have an allergy to it in certain hair products such as Mizani.
Iām still waiting to try:
Rizos Curls
Bounce Curl
What brand I currently use: Camille Rose Naturals (I donāt think Iām changing any time soon)
I also no longer heat style. I either spritz to refresh curls or do a wash. I also wear a āSlapā from Grace Eleyae at night and it doubles as a beanie for during the day. 0 regrets.
And whatever you do, donāt use DevaCurl. Apparently women are losing their hair. Iāve only ever had a sample once, the smell was too strong and it used peppermint which is too strong for a sensitive scalp.
As always, I try these things so you donāt have to!
It is with my deepest apologies that I explain my disappearance. While weāre still on track with products (as I have them), I stopped and slowed down on the usage and testing of stuff because.... *Drum roll*
A mere 3 weeks ago, I went into surgery. Immediately after I was in the ICU for 5 days with a collapsed lung. They kept me under monitoring, debating if I would need another surgery - one for a chest tube. I was finally released on Fatherās Day, last minute decision from a doctor even though I was not fully healed. I made an improvement enough to be sent home safely. Following that, I was in the ER as of this Sunday due to infection, and have a 3rd follow up on Thursday. I have been in and out of the hospital so much, Iām remembering faces.
It has been a hard few weeks and I have not forgotten about you lovelies and your beauty. Please accept my apologies for disappearing. My health is not at its peak and itās taking me some time to get back into the step of things. Bear with me, I promise you weāll be back and potentially better than ever. Please be patient.
Mm lip balm, one of my least favorite items. This one is super cute, super thick, and doesnāt taste that great if you lick it. Tony Molyās Kiss Kiss lip essence balm is as thick and numbing as honey was spread all over your mouth. Not my favorite and I will put almost anything on my lips (yuck it up, Iām not taking back that statement) which says a lot.Ā
This lip balm is oh so clever and clique as it is in the shape of a set of lips! The top twists off and you remove the little plastic film. Thatās it. The little pot of lip balm is an orange yellow color, almost like honey. Do not even think of licking your lips, biting them, having them kissed, nothing when you apply this. Itās sticky and unpleasant. Youāre in for a nasty shock and so is your S.O!Ā
Nothing fantastic to see here. You have to use your finger to apply the balm or a brush. A brush definitely helps in my opinion. I was...not amused with this balm. However, it is popular I suppose because you can purchase this in Ulta. Iām not quite sure how I feel about that. I feel indifferent or sour towards this product despite its cute packaging. Has anyone else tried this?

Letās talk about face spray.... in my Beauteque bag from February, I obtainedĀ Annieās Way Calendula Softening Jelly Spray.
Itās the orange and clean box in my previous post but let me show it again here! Cute, no? All thatās inside was a little spray bottle which was...perplexing. Why the need for fancy packaging? Iāll never know.
So basically this is a face spray which served no purpose though I used it quite a bit. Itās refreshing to spray on your face but so is a water gun during summer time. The spray doesnāt have much fragrance but itās nice. ItāsĀ ājellyā texture isnāt jelly at all but just sticky. Reminds me of when you accidentally get jelly on your hand when making a PB&J sandwich.Ā
Recall how you lick off/wipe off the jelly and have that sticky after feel? Yeah, thatās what this spray is like. Youāre supposed to pat the essence into your face. The serum briefly hydrates and softens my face for slight improvement but once it dries or you stop the treatment, your face will revert to normal. I saw no real difference - for better or for worse.
The vial is SO SMALL (which I may post pictures of later if you take interest), the lowest price I saw for this item was 9 bucks which doesnāt include tax or shipping. Completely not worth it. Fun to have but has no real value. I get the same feeling of refreshment when I use a water bottle in the summer - the misting sensation is where the pleasure lies. Canāt say Iāll ever get this again.
On another note: YOU CAN EXPERIENCE THIS ENTIRE BAG YOURSELF! Beauteque listened to how popular this bag was and for a limited time - for $35 - you can own this bag by purchasing it on their website. If this stuff is up your alley, go for it. Canāt say this is my favorite but hey, what works for me, might not work for you and vice versa.
So I was recently using this lotion that came from my February bag. Itās called ON: The Body Nourishing Body Lotion and itās Cherry Blossom scented with a shea butter blending.
I have NEVER experienced a more authentic scented Cherry Blossom product until this one! Itās so natural, light, and invokes cherry blossoms instantly to mind. Itās pretty amazing. I use it for my arms and legs. My skin is super dry and I have a minor skin condition. I feel so smooth after slathering this lotion on after a real good shower. Itās not too firm and not too watery, glides easy and a small amount will get you far plus when it tries, itās not sticky!
Downside is this product isnāt easily obtained. For now, Beauteque offers this lotion on their store. Iām not sure where else to land this product when it runs out. I tried to find this exact product and I couldnāt find it. There are others in the line, I discovered. Iām not sure if theyāre just a change of scent or what. The shea blending seems to make it different and I can hardly find it. Bummer. I would like to keep it as my staple body lotion. That is saying a lot considering how I donāt particularly enjoy body lotions for the most part. If you can snag this, go for it. It is well worth it and it may just replace your Bath and Body Works line like it did mine.
So this was brief, straight forward and the like. No big deal. Iām on Spring Break and thought Iād pop in on how Iām using my stuff right now! Iāll be covering another product here in a few coming days. Everything in the bag should be covered soon.
So a little late but weāre gonna take a closer look at the Beauteque Beauty Bag of February. Now, I already went ahead and gave you a review of the hand cream because it was so fantastic and delicious smelling. I was super excited!Ā
Now for all you curious souls, hereās the rest of the bag to give you an idea of how Beautequeās picked items are in their bags.
Pay no attention to the awful photo background because I used my computer desk! Look at all the goodies! I feel like this haul was decent, however I donāt appreciate the spoiler newsletters that came in my email, lol. Beauteque, I like surprises when it comes to my beauty bag!
The items shown are:
The bag itself
Beautequeās own fuzzy hair band (Tucked in the bag)
Macarons Hand Cream
Mizonās Firming Eye Cream (Purple box)
Tonymolyās Kiss Kiss Lip Balm
Annieās Way Calendula Softening Jelly Spray (Clear and orangey yellow box)
ON: The Body - Cherry Blossom Nourishing Body Lotion
My favorites were the body lotion, the hand cream, and the softening jelly spray. So body, hands, and face were the winners here. These items in particular have earned recognition on my end because they truly served a purpose.Ā
This haul wasnāt too bad, it was slightly underwhelming. At least 3 were my favorite, 2 I did not particularly find exciting, and the headband and bag were slightly disappointing. The headband is super cheap material so that was sad. The hand bag felt alright but also the kind you would get as a kid playing dress up. So meh.Ā
3/5 in rating. I expected something... grander. I adore the idea of Beauty Bags and Beauteque is a good deal. I will go hunting for others but while weāre at it, feel free to suggest other subscriptions for me to try out!
Stay tuned as I dive into each product individually!
