     “I’m going to admit something to you right now, but you’re not allowed to tell me that you told me so, deal?” the redhead rose her brows, only waiting a moment before she continued anyways. “You may have been onto something when you were talking about not bottling up feelings...and I may have been an idiot to suggest otherwise” Emeli sighed heavily, hating to admit that she’d been wrong, even over something so small. 

“you’ll be sad for a while and then you’ll stop giving a shit and it’s the best feeling ever.”

“That’s the advice that I give everybody when they feel like it’s the end of the world, honestly” Emeli shrugged softly. Even though their interaction was limited at the dance, there was something about Theo that the redhead liked that she couldn’t quite put her finger on. “It feels like every sucks now but trust me, give it a week and you’ll forget why you were even feeling sad in the first place...also smashing things up helps...sometimes”
