The tension was immediate. Preston makes every notification, every comment, and every unknown presence feel like a potential threat. The stalking and paranoia are palpable, and the pacing keeps you flipping pages almost against your will.

How effectively the world of vlogging became a source of danger. Connie’s fear wasn’t only about the killer—it was the exposure that comes with modern social media life. The killer’s identity remained hidden masterfully, and I genuinely didn’t see it coming. My only (very small) gripe: it ends abruptly, leaving the story feeling like it just stops rather than concluding fully.

The Obsession is told from 2 POVs, Logan and Delilah, and both broken in their own way. What follows are twists on twists as each character's secrets are revealed and they spiral into an abyss of their own making. . I have to admit that the book is actually very good but that it was not one for me. I enjoyed the first half very much but then it turned darker into a style very much like psychological thriller. Since, I'm not a fan of psychological thriller, it then became a chore to finish.
