@swiped-theo
She had heard through the grapevine that Theo was back. From where, she wasn’t quite sure. She wasn’t sure of anything with Theo any more. Before he had ruined everything with a kiss, she was sure that he would visit her before going anywhere even if it would only be for a few days. He had always let her know, and she had assumed he always would. But this time he hadn’t and she didn’t quite know which of her emotions she felt the strongest– anger, fear, betrayal, loneliness.
The first day she had refused to cave in. Her plan was to let him come to her. Astoria had decided that he deserved to grovel. He had left without so much as an owl and had not contacted her once in his absence. She had been counting down the hours and when more than forty-eight had passed, she began to doubt that he would come.
Astoria longed for the days when she could floo straight in without announcing herself and make herself comfortable in his home. Now she found herself standing in front of his doorstep, contemplating whether or not she should leave or swallow her pride. Deciding on the latter, she knocked on the door three times before letting her arm drop to her side.
With glazed eyes and red lips from having been anxiously chewed on, she waited for him to come to the door.
