"How about it, then?" Lorlen inquired, setting his wine glass down on the table.
"Are you challenging me?" Akkarin leaned forward. "Because I'll have you know, I haven't been beaten in a long time."
"I've been practising. The last time we opposed each other, we were novices. My tactics have improved greatly since then. And anyway, what harm could come of it?"

The administrator chuckled. His opponent glared at him.
