Hey, I'm not dead
First of all I'm incredibly sorry for not updating in a million years. I was kinda sorta busy with finishing my academic career and graduating from college and moving back home. And while I understand my loss of about 2000 followers, it still makes me a little sad :-( But I am so thankful that a few hundred of you stuck around, so thank you for your patience!!!
Second of all, I've still been painting my nails during these last many months and such so I have a TON of pictures to edit and post and all that jazz. So you all have that to look forward to.
Lastly, I will be creating a blog on another platform, most likely on Blogger. I will still link new posts back here on my Tumblr, but the full posts will only be on my new blog. It's just more user-friendly and I have a lot more freedom with the layout.
So be on the lookout for changes and updates! I'm really excited to get back into this!
GEO!!! LOOK WHAT I MADE!
First of all, if you guys have not watched BBC's Sherlock, GO WATCH IT. It's so clever and cool and great and it's one of my favorite shows.
Second of all, if you are unfamiliar with geothebio then you need to go check out the fantastic art and comics and such that she makes. They are highly entertaining and worth a look!
Anywaaaaay, these are depictions of her Sherlock and John comic characters. I made the wallpaper design, Sherlock, and John by making nail decals using a technique similar to this one from Nail Nerd. They were trickier to work with than I expected, but at least I got it to work in the end! What do you guys think?

Hey there... buddies
So... I realize I've been really awful at updating all summer and lately. I've been trying to get into the swing of school and such and I've been really swamped. This weekend, though, I plan to update a TON! So please, stay patient and stay tuned, lovelies!
Since I didn't get to go to Comic Con as planned this year, I treated myself to this beautiful Loki shirt that Hot Topic had on sale, and the smoke/magic/energy trails on the design reminded me of dry marbling, so I gave it a shot. To be honest, I ended up liking my right hand better than my left (which very rarely happens)! I'll have to remember this technique next time I wanna do flames.
