"Heya, cher…" Remy drawled, a smile slowly spreading on his lips as her students filed out of the classroom.  

"What?" she asked, practically barking the word because she had no time for his shenanigans today.  And she totally hated that she used the word shenanigans unironically.  

"Shh, calm down... " He slid his arm around her shoulder.  "It's a good thing, I promise."  

Exhaling slowly, she began to walk with him.  "Fine.  What's your good thing, LeBeau?"  

"Dinner and a movie?  With me?"  

She shrugged, smirking slightly.  "I dunno, that sounds like two things."

"So I've volunteered you to go work at a soup kitchen over the holidays…" Darcy said quickly, hoping to be able to just slip it in there and not have to worry about arguing with him.  

Warren made a face.  "A soup kitchen?  Couldn't I just… donate food? Or money?"  

"Yeah...  You've done that already.  People like face to face time," she insisted.  "Besides.  You won't be alone.  I'll be there."  

His eyebrows went up.  "Oh?  Okay, then."

"I would really love to go to a library or something…"  Erik said, arching an eyebrow and levitating Darcy's car keys.  

"I'm sure libraries are obsolete now…" Charles said bitterly.  

"Actually, they're not.  They're experiencing a resurgence," Darcy corrected him.  "But we're not going anywhere.  Because I'm no dummy."  She smirked in Erik's direction. "You can't go anywhere, there's a risk you'll run into your future selves and destroy the space/time continuum."

"Can we watch TV again?"  he asked.  "This is boring.  Can you put something on the Netflix?"  

"It's not the Netflix.  It's just Netflix.  And not now."  

"What is this 'Netflix and Chill' everyone's talking about?" Charles asked, scrolling down Darcy's twitter feed.

Namor couldn't help but notice the profile she cut.

Darcy Lewis was one good looking woman.  

She was standing in the window, facing out towards the ocean where Atlantis lay while clicking her pen repeatedly.  He was starting to think she did this solely to annoy him. “So are you coming back with me to New York or not?” she asked, eyeing him suspiciously.
