He had a good point -- as always. With this sort of thing, she knew she could trust his guts. While many things about how humans lived their lives was new and as she said it herself, strange, she found herself wanting to embrace those very things more and more. Jude had become predictable to her in a way, but there were still so many things she had yet to learn about him or figure out about him.

One glance had offered everything she needed to see. The places that had were once separated from each other were on the path to becoming one. Before her very eyes was a changed world. Slowly but surely, these efforts all meant something. That went for everything she hadn’t seen, and wouldn’t see. 

Next to her, was proof enough. Again he was by her side. Familiar as the feeling was when they stood nearby, there was something she noticed more that never changed. That look he had always saved for her was still intact. He certainly had a way of bringing that spark of fondness back, just from the way he looked at her. In the best way she can, it’s returned with a soft smile and a respectful silence to fully listen to him. 

Before she speaks her smiles lessens, but the feeling shared between them stays as strong as ever. “Generally speaking, it seems like everything is rather...lively.” When she focused on the things that mattered most, it was easy to keep herself on her own path, easily. Just like her, he too had things he put first, and she could tell he was staying true to everything he stood for. Knowing just how important that was, she shifted her weight. As much as she wanted to, it was best to keep these things as brief as possible.
