It was so wonderful getting to showcase my dear friend Laura Namey’s book #thelibraryoflostthings And this week was so special not only because of my birthday but because it was a very very #bookish week! And what made it even more sweet was introducing special friends from the bay area to Laura who I’ve known for a long time. Her darling characters, well shaped storyline, Latina ambience, and magical friendships she creates are really worthwhile. I awoke this morning as if still in a dream, like I had gone on a secret mission overnight placing wonderful @laura_namey new book #TheLibraryofLostThings in famous libraries throughout the world…Just to celebrate her #BookBirthday which is TODAY! Ones where I’m floating and bathed in starlight and getting carried away with heights (scroll to catch a smile). 📚📚📚✨Oh how you’re going to love the words and places and especially the friendships and fun romance of this young adult contemporary work by my dear friend. I’m so thrilled and wanted to find a fun way to celebrate from the Bay Area since I’m house-bound tending to my son who’s just had surgery (he’s recovering very well!). Laura and I were critique partners on this and my middle grade work and I’ve loved ❤️❤️ watching her dreams come to life! PS - the last photo has eight of her books - can you find them all?
