A bond between book bindings.

On his first day of attendance at UWAA, Arthur had been advised to choose an after-school club or two to join, as it was one of the easiest ways to bond with students of other disciplines. Arthur had at first rolled his eyes at this notion, insisting that it would be pointless; he had always had a terrible time getting on with just about anyone. Naturally he was a secluded teenager, and he had become quite comfortable with his own company throughout the years - or at least, he liked to convince himself that this was the case.
But even though club attendance wasn't mandatory (as it had been in his last school) Arthur decided he would give it a shot, at least for the first few weeks. Perhaps he would be pleasantly surprised, and maybe it would also work as a distraction from the fact that he was too bloody poor to spend his spare-time doing anything other than scrounge around town for a job, or sit alone in his dorm with a guitar that was in desperate need of some new strings. Even though the Brit was quite aware that his taste in both literature and music could be considered a little unusual when compared to the tastes of most of the kids his age, he chose to join both the music club and the book club, because showing off this acquired (and far superior) tastes, given the slightest opportunity, was also in his nature. The book club was scheduled to start at any moment, and it was to take place in a comfortable section of the library, tucked away in a nice corner so as not to disturb other students. but it seemed as though Arthur was the only one who had bothered to show. Had he somehow managed to mix up the days?
