I have been meaning to post about The James NYC located in south west SoHo for a while now.  I had the opportunity to check out this amazing hotel about a month ago with one of the guys from the previous ownership company BCRE who have since sold the property to Prudential Real Estate Investors.  The Jimmy rooftop bar is a real treat with 360 degree panoramic views of the city and not to mention a chic rooftop pool and deck area.  The hotel is designed with natural materials and neutral colors which is very appropriate for the SoHo area.  At night, the bar area located around the hotel comes to life and is definitely a destination for many city folk and tourists alike.  If you're in the neighborhood I would suggest swinging by or looking for a swanky SoHo hotel then I think you have met your match.  For more info check out the hotel's website here: http://www.jameshotels.com/new-york/.
