Hanekoma pulled a deep frown as he opened his wings, "The city is mine, Mr. Abe. And anyway, Shades is busy with his own laundry list of duties. I'm free now and if it's something dangerous I know I've got the power to handle it. Besides, I can always call you in for backup if need be. Alright? So relax and let me handle this."
Haruto sighed deeply on the other side of the line, but Hanekoma recognized that sound. Defeat. "Fine. I don't think it's wise for the Composer to be inspecting foreign entities, but I'll put my trust in you. But listen to me, Sanae: At the first sign of trouble, you get out. Do not try to fight that thing alone. You get out and you come running to me. Do not trust whatever entity you find. It isn't an angel."
"I understand. I'll see ya later, alright?"
"Be careful, Composer."
Hanekoma rolled his eyes and tucked his phone in his pocket, finally allowing himself to dive from the rooftop and soar over the city, unseen by the people below him in the streets. He could sense the music around him, the rhythm of the city pulsing and flowing beneath his wings, and for a moment he got so lost in the sheer joy of it that he forgot what he was initially doing. But then he caught the hint of an inhuman soul, and his interest turned him to the source, excitement welling within him. He was careful to land away from the target and tune down enough to (hopefully) pass as human to his guest. He stepped around the corner then, tucking his hands in his pockets and smiling brightly.
Tall. Beautifully intricate soul. He was beyond interested.
"Hey there," he purred as he approached, gazing over the rim of his glasses. "Welcome to Shibuya. To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit, sister?"
