( 浩 ) — They were supposed to meet up with the rest of the group to progress towards the next station. Minghao, being a polite junior, offered to direct themselves there with the impression that finding their way would be easy with the map they were provided. It wasn’t a surprise finding themselves in this situation, however, as he was a foreigner who had roughly three years of experience in Seoul and half of the time was spent solely just in the company training room. No surprise at all.
Yet, figure swept to the side, lips pursing as he refuse to admit it; he had too much pride for that—not that it was currently a good thing at the moment. “We are not lost. It’s just a, y’know, different path to the City Hall. What makes you think that?” the question curled at the end, accented, the query posed itself at her as if she shouldn’t be. “Plenty of time.” he added, his dictation slurred, albeit his gentle tones, his sentence missing a grammatical verb.
Unlike the other, Hyuna lived in Seoul for a long time and she knew how to manage herself in the city, even if most of the times someone took her to places. However, with the life she has, it’s not surprising that there was a few places she didn’t know and as soon as she saw the map she knew they would get lost eventually. But for some reason she decided to believe the other’s habilities and trusted him to guide her to wherever the group was.
‘Why did I decided to come.... Why didn’t we just catch a taxi...?’ it was the only thing that came to Hyuna’s mind the moment she heard the male’s explanation. They were clearly lost and unlike what he thought, they didn’t have plenty of time. “Are you sure you know the way? If we are lost we can just ask for indications or call a taxi. It would be easier and faster...”
