Scott decided to go for a walk and get some fresh air. The drama in his life the past couple of weeks had began to get on his nerves. Heâd become easily irritated by almost every little thing, something which annoyed the hell out of him. He just felt like he needed silence, it was the one thing he knew he seemed to need the most apart from Taylorâs support. The pack was falling apart, itâs how he saw it, but he didnât blame himself, no. It hurt, it was something he hadnât admitted out loud yet. His friendships were crumbling down, him and Lydiaâs had after his outburst at her. Heâd lost it, the stress seemed to have gotten the worst of him in that moment only to snap, but she was the one to trigger it with her words, attack the one he loved the most in such a way, call her an idiot, call him an idiot as well right to his face. It was something he couldnât allow to go any further and he didnât. He still hadnât heard anything about Allison since their last encounter and it felt as if heâd managed to push her away completely, something he hadnât intended to do. Maybe in the moment, he had, he wasnât sure, but he never wouldâve meant the words with all his heart. He kept walking, his gaze focused on the ground as he walked as he seemed to have another battle with his thoughts inside his head. He didnât know what was right or wrong anymore, either way heâd had enough and it was time to clear everything in his mind. Maybe even move onto a different page if things didnât sort themselves out.
Scott kept walking, gaze stuck on the ground yet soon enough he came to a stop once he found himself inhaling an all to familiar scent. The alpha instantly looked around himself, brown orbs finding an all to familiar brunette in the distance and he froze. Maybe it was his only chance to talk things out with her, without anyone telling him to do so. Perhaps itâs the only way for him to breathe again, the only way for him to untie one of the knots that have seemed to form over the past couple of weeks. Heâs walking towards her, steps slow, yet quick enough to actually approach her, and he reached out to let his fingers wrap around her wrist gently, stopping her from walking any further. âI uh..â He hadnât thought of how to begin the conversation, something which he noticed to be an issue. He didnât know what to tell her, what to say to her and he didnât even know if he should apologize for what heâd told her at Mardi Grass. âMind if we talk?â His words are spoken quietly, his hand moving up to run through his brown curls as his teeth sank into his bottom lip. âAbout us, what I said and what you did. About everything pretty much.â It was a simple explanation, one which he hoped would make things easier for not only her, but also himself when it came to understanding. âPlease?â
