Alex let out a soft drawn out groan as she tugged the front door of the manor shut Leaning against the door frame, she sighed. Who the heck knew high school could be so stressful? At least it was the weekend meaning that tonight she could go stay out a bit longer on patrol and not worry about homework. She could definitely use some extra time in the gym. After she let out another huff, she dragged her bag along with her as she headed towards the training room. Turns out, she was false in assuming it'd be empty for the afternoon. "You mind if I join?" she asked her adopted parent.

Sighing again she took a  sip of her wine as she scanned the room for target. She had been following this man for days. Which had been really boring up until now. Though it's still boring but now there is wine. And food. Finally she spotted the man talking to someone. It wasn't until after getting closer did she realize who he was talking to. The man of the hour himself. Well shit. She was hoping that Bruce would know that she was there. She shook her head and turn around disappearing into the mess of people.

No no no, don't be. 

He poured the coffee and begrudgingly asked, “Want one?”

"Don’t tell Alfred. I told him it’s a lot nicer of a place than it is so he wouldn’t freak out and insist on cleaning it every week or something."

"Because I knew you’d say something dumb like, ‘Hire an interior decorator with all the shitton of money you have, Dick.’" Suddenly self-conscious of the place, he kicked an old pizza box under his bed and, deciding he needed a little something to deal with this, went to the kitchen for a cup of coffee.

"Yeah, great, thanks, but uh, I can’t afford one, and I won’t let you pay for one, so no. What the hell are you doing here? Don’t you think I moved out so I could avoid pointless criticism like this?" He muttered a swear under his breath and got up to look for pants.
