A Review of my Life(Scouts Logs)
For those of you who have watched all of the videos on this journey up to this point, you have seen the many badges i've earned while I completed them. A few of them you didn't get to see, but I promise I did earn them all. If you watched Log number 6, which is actually uploading to my YouTube channel, TheFrozenWolf, right now, then you know that I came to the realization that I needed to type more blogs on here. I meant to type about each badge I earned, but failed to do so. You also know that I want to review the badges I have earned thus far, and so this is what I'm going to do in order to catch up to where I'm at.
I started this journey thanks to Charlieissocoollike on YouTube. He went for his skydiving badge which made me think about my life. Part of this also came from a friend named Jake who continued to try to get me out to do more. I've always been more of an introvert and so getting out of my shell is hard, but by trying to collect these bages I have to be more outgoing.
The first badges that I earned were the Marching Band, Parade, and Empire State Building Badges. I really enjoyed these badges because music is a big part of my life and I had always wanted to be in Macy's Parade allowing me to go to New York. (Check out the video and blog for more information on those.)
Next I earned my Archery badge. This was something I always wanted to learn to do, and now I own my own bow and arrows. I even bought a leather quiver! I love them so much and just wish I had a cool target range to shoot at. Maybe one day I will build what I want!
Then next few badnges I rolled into a 100th video for my YouTube channel. I earned the Zoo badge showing clips from when I went to the Gulf Shores Zoo in Gulf Shores, Alabama. I love animals so this was great for me. I also added the Driving badge because I was vlogging while I drove, which is where most of my vlogs are made; behind the wheel. And finally I added in the video game badge showing clips from some of the video games I had recorded for my channel.
In a large video of badges I showed how I collected 13 quickly. I earned the Dungeons and Dragons badge which I really didn't enjoy that much. I also earned my bowling badge. Ilovebowling! I still need some work in that area though. I showed how I can speak a little french, I need a lot of work in that area, and I showed a previous clip of me flying a kite.
I climbed a tree in that video as well and spoke about being in a haunted cave. It was a famous cave called the Bellwitch Cave. I even showed a few pictures. The rest of my badges were music related which made them easier for me to earn since I love music. These badges included performing on a stage; singing; songwriting; and playing violin, piano, keyboard, and guitar.
The last two that I earned, but have yet to buy, are skipping (known in America as Jump Rope) and Balloon Animals.
Out of all of the badges I earned, I loved earning the guitar badge because I got to learn from my grandfather. It would probably be my favorite thus far. In second place would be Archery. This is something I've wanted to do for many years and thought I would never get the chance or push myself to actually give it a try. In third place would have to be marching in a parade. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was always a dream that I didn't think I ever had a snowball's chance in July to reach. Pretty much the only way to reach that dream is to be in a marching band or to be famous, and so I was very blessed by God to have this oppurtunity.
