So lovely to hang out and visit with this amazing human! Thank you Chandra Cerrito for stopping by The Fourth Wall Gallery to see my show UNDER THE WIDE SKY WE GATHER. I enjoyed our discussion about my work and the mixed media installation, and of Chandra’s many public art projects in the Bay Area and beyond. We also had a good chat about what keeps us inspired and motivated and happy in our daily lives—given all that’s going on in the world today. We both agreed that it’s tricky to stay positive sometimes. For those who don’t know Chandra, check out her website. She’s a talented art consultant, advisor, and curator who has realized countless projects in both the public and private sector. Her company works with artists at all levels—both studio and public artists. In 2019 I was honored to work with Chandra and her team on a commission of two paintings, now installed in the new UCSF hospital in SF. It was a fantastic experience.
