#Repost @johnscomicswith with @repostsaveapp · · · I just finished reading @awastudiosofficial trade paperback for The Fourth Man by @mccomseycomics and @mikedeodato and I really enjoyed it. If you’re a fan of Coen Brothers films, noir crime stories, or Brubaker comics, you need to give this a read. One of my favorite parts was how Mike Deodato Jr used actor likenesses as a way of capturing the key characters. I’ve included a few samples so that you can try to see for yourself if anyone of them remind of actors you might know. Most importantly, this is a thrilling whodunnit mystery with a myriad of twists and turns. Three people have been murdered in a small town under suspicious circumstances. A pair of detectives are called in to try and sort out all the bizarre ways in which these characters are connected. Like a good Coen Bros thriller, I found myself giggling, gasping with shock, and holding my breath with excitement. This was a lot of fun and I look forward to seeing if they creators tell more stories in this universe.
