it’s okay to not be okay.
Tattoos
I’m sorry that it took me so long to get to the requests. This is the first; there’s plenty to come.

Tattoos. The thought of them scared and intrigued me at the same time. I had the largest fear of needles, but the look of them was so cool. I never used to think this way until I met my current boyfriend, John. He was absolutely covered in them, but was constantly getting more; much like this very moment.
It was a few days from the end of tour and the guys had hired a tattoo artist to come and tattoo them on the road. When John laid on the table for his turn, I couldn’t think of a place where he could fit another.
“How do you withstand the pain of this?” I said cringing as I took a seat next to him.
“You get used to it, Darlin’.”
“Do you want me to hold your hand?”
He merely chuckled, closing his eyes with amusement. “If it’ll make you feel better, then sure.”
I grasped his hand with a gentle grip while stroking the tops of his knuckles back and forth.
“Why can’t you tell me what you’re getting this time? You always tell me,” I asked, getting slightly impatient at the wait.
“You’ll know soon enough, now hush.”
After a quick 45 minutes, the tattoo was complete. John rose from the table with his back turned to me.
“Now I really hope you’re not mad at me.”
As I was about to speak, John turned and showed me the tattoo. It was a small four leaf clover with my initials in script written on each leaf right near his heart.
“John, this is incredible,” I said as I smacked his arm lightly “but I thought we agreed that getting any tattoos about each other would jinx our relationship.”
“The clover is for luck, Darlin’, and you’ve made me the luckiest man alive.”

Don’t Come Down by The Maine for @air-iela
This line made me feel like breaking out the glitter so I guess I’ll be cleaning that up for a few days.
