Jazmine and I are convinced that I'd be the best Dad. I'd make a garage band with the other Dads in the neighborhood and I'd only approve of my children's boyfriends/girlfriend if they answer correctly to my trivia of pop culture "okay you may think you're cute but what is your opinion on french baguettes" and if my daughter would come home with a biker dude with tattoos id probably hi five him for being cool without even doing the test. i am the alpha dad. the parents of the tumblr era will be superior.

One of my favorite things in the world is when a song reminds you of someone or a certain memory. Like, whenever I listen to Simple Plan, alexgaskarthhasruinedmylife pops up in my head, as she introduced me to the band. When I'm jamming to MCR, thefandomlyfe slips in and out of my mind, as it's her favorite band. One of my best irl friends, shy-spirit, has a couple songs from different bands that make me think of her, such as Jesus Christ (BN) or Coffee Eyes (TWY), as I'd remember her talking about those songs in our conversations. One time, oneofthosecrazyfangirls did a cover of The Only Exception for me and now I associate her with that song. I think of dragonsaremyclarity when I listen to Imagine Dragons or even crushcrushcrush, Ignorance or Pressure from Paramore, as the former is his favorite band and the later are the songs I used to get him into Paramore. I always talk about Tonight Alive with maynpart, so that band reminds me of her. One time, hispanickedatthedisco and I were looking for new bands to listen to and we both discovered Hands Like Houses at the same time and ever since, I think of him when I listen to it. I just love how music is a strong part of my life and the joys of music can make me think of some of my favorite people in the entire world. It's just magical.
