Because consistent effort over time yields results #wooo #theexcitement I've been better about warming up and doing some activation before training lately (#newyearnewme? 😝) because it really does make a difference. Nowww to get better about stretching 😬. This is a slightly lighter weight, higher rep (hypertrophy) day focusing more on ze glutes. I don't like to go close to a 'max' for hip thrusts but start with relatively heavier weight and then drop it down and use a band for some hip abduction action (+ bodyweight superset) to work dem glute meds. Then curtsey squats, plié squats, and dumbbell rdls superset with goblet squats. I'm aware these band burnouts look easy/silly but they're no joke 🔥. And another s/o to @mbslingshot for making a band that dudes will actually use (I keep getting asked about mine).
