Happy 1 year anniversary of me going to the Dog Run! I don't usually do a transformation Tuesday, but today, I feel I must. This isn't a physical transformation; it's something so much more. The girl on the left was asked to attend Monday pool league by a friend. She was reluctant to go because she hadn't been out of the house in weeks, the breakup had taken a toll on her. The girl on the right, attended Monday pool league for the first time in months because she went through a breakup and was afraid what would happen if she showed up. But over the course of that year, the girl on the left rebuilt her life. She figured out who she wanted to be and worked towards that. She learned what she deserved and learned to love again. She showed the progress in her recovery. She became brave, positive, and secure in herself. She learned to control her emotions. She took a break up and handled it well. All this tied together and brought about the girl on the right last night. So happy anniversary to the place that saved me! It was only right that everything tied itself together at the same location.
