it's been a while since emmanuel has seen the likes of the other around regularly. soldiers of the great war, that is. not ghosts. there's always plenty of ghosts. sometimes he fails to account for them when moving around the earth. the way they blur into the background makes them hard to register when passing by. if anything, he's grateful he did not materialise inside the other.
