@thecorruptedhope but Coffee
The tea that was placed before him was so... plain.
It smelled sweet, not sickeningly so, but still enough to have a bite to it. The scent was that of vanilla but with a citrus tinge to it, that stung the nose. It was pure white like coffee but with the soft dusting of espresso underneath.
The mug was just as bland, an ivory white with black splotches like marble despite the fact that this was certainly only porcelain. It wasn't hot to the touch but cold like ice. Seeing nothing inherently wrong with at least trying it, Kite lifted the mug and took a sip.
Violent cutting citrus pierced through his tastebuds and the conflicting creaminess of the concoction paired with the bitterness of coffee made the guardian gag. Somehow it was still too sweet despite the bite of the citrus and coffee. How was that even possible?? It was sickening.
Kite promptly poured the "coffee" out.
