We (insist we) made up a new game this past weekend. Take friends, give them each a few Trivial Pursuit cards and plenty of wine. Challenge them to ask and get a fellow player to answer one of the questions on their cards without anyone else guessing. Tips: play the long game, be indistinct, random; be suspicious of anyone who becomes suddenly interested in the floral emblems of the States. There is no 'fair'. If you take a toilet break (as one does with this much wine), you can be tricked into revealing the name of the dog on The Simpsons if you're asked in such a way that it seems everyone else has already been asked. And finally, try not to let your eyes 'smile' too much the closer you get to your prize. Many a player is brought down at the last hurdle by celebrating prematurely. Play until all the wine is gone or you have lost all trust in your friends.
