Adrian Giovanni would just like to make it through his senior year in as normal a way as possible. Unfortunately for him, Cherry Hill High is not willing to let him do that. The annual competition for prom king, known as the Cherry Pick, finds its way into every facet of the school’s operation. It’s much more than just a popularity contest.
Heather Mckenzie, cherry pick mastermind, student council president, and all-around queen bee has the school held in her perfectly manicured hands.
To make matters even more difficult Adrian is up against this year’s current favorite, the senior varsity soccer captain, most popular boy in school,and rumored former flame of Heather herself: Mikey Donovan. Beating him would be a lot easier if he wasn’t such a friendly guy.
