URL
Same as before - the URL is short, memorable and works fairly well in getting across the group genre. Itâs not overly complicated either.
Theme
I still love the colour scheme you have going on, the bright primary colours and black and white make the page look very appealing and match the comic theme well. I like the theme with the smaller header much more as it doesnât draw the eye as much as it used to, so youâre more likely to look at the actual page content.
Plot
Again, the sidebar plot is really well written and walks the line between teasing and giving information very well - it makes me want to read on to the main plot to find out what happens to the citizens of the town. I also still think the first section of the plot is a tad long and goes overboard with setting up a mysterious tone. It could probably be cut down to one paragraph if you got rid of some superfluous sentences. Overall though, the plot does a great job at setting the scene and the possibilities to come, and itâs well-paced other than the first paragraph.
Characters
Iâm so glad youâve got some characters out this time! The bios are all of similar length which is great to see as it makes sure none are more important than others. I like the touch of adding the inspo/ask tags etc. to the bio itself for easy navigation. I do think the bios are a little on the long side, however - thereâs a lot of information in there that might put off players who want to jiggle around with backgrounds etc. But then again, Iâm not sure what you could take out. The power section in particular is great in that you set out the basic levels of the power to ensure your method of introducing them gradually works out. Although you have great gender and ethnic diversity in FCs, Iâd love to see some more diversity in body type and ability.
Rules
As I mentioned in my first review, I think itâd be useful to add a link to your triggers page in the rules for ease of navigation. You really reiterate in the rules that any kind of hate wonât be tolerated and that the group is a safe space for all, which shows how serious youâre going to be about it. The rules cover all the bases in easy to understand terms and I canât think of anything else youâd need to add, so well done!
Application
I love that youâve left the option open that people can just say if theyâre under or over eighteen, it really shows an acceptance to people who might not want to share that information. I do find it a little odd that you insist on FCs coming off the bio suggestions - if you want to enforce an FC for each character I think itâs best you only have one on the bio, with exceptions for talking to the admins. Itâd be useful if you added a suggested length to the para sample section, so people know what youâre looking for. There are lots of development questions, and Iâm glad to see theyâre short as longer development questions can put a lot of people off applying as the development is something they prefer to do when the groupâs going.
Miscellaneous
I love love love the character graphics! The admin who made them has done a fantastic job, they fit is so well with the genre and look really attractive. The admins all seem very professional and friendly, and give excellent answers to asks. There are a few typos here and there in the bios, so I think youâd benefit from a proof-reader, either another admin or someone unrelated to the group.
Overall
As Iâve said before, Iâm a real sucker for superhero groups. Youâve ramped it from when I last reviewed you and it shows - the whole group looks fantastic and itâs so well put together. There are a few odd things here and there that arenât to my taste or can be fixed easily, but otherwise youâve put together a brilliant group! Best of luck for opening!
