Despite having a big family, Honey never actually lost anyone close to her. That doesn't mean she's not wary of that reality, but Honey prefers to live life carefree, being her bubbly self.It wasn't until Tadashi died in the fire that Honey was stricken with a grief she didn't think possible. It was, indeed, like losing a part of her family. For that reason, she's not always sure how to help the rest of the team cope, particularly Hiro, who's experienced so much loss in his short life.Honey tries not to wallow in depressive thoughts, and instead push them down so she can support others; it's easier for her to bear the pain this way. However, she's not immune to those feelings. When she's finally alone, and there's no one around for her to flash a wide smile to, she breaks down, grief overtaking her completely.And that's why she always tries her best to protect the rest of the team when they're out saving the world     because she can't lose anyone else.
