Leighton Meester first wore this kelly green Nanette Lepore coat as Blair Waldorf in the 2009 episode of 𝑮𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒑 𝑮𝒊𝒓𝒍, entitled 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒃𝒚𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒑 𝑮𝒊𝒓𝒍.   When 𝑮𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒑 𝑮𝒊𝒓𝒍 ended, costume designer Eric Daman was allowed to go through the show’s costume closet and choose a few pieces to use for the next show he would work on – 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔. This coat was one of the pieces he took and eventually used on AnnaSophia Robb as Carrie Bradshaw in the 2014 episode 𝑹𝒖𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒀𝒐𝒖.   See more at Bit.ly/PostEd133
