ohh what is it called
So turns out it is not Swedish, but Dutch, and it’s HEX by Thomas Olde Heuvelt. Set in a small New York town that is haunted, physically, not spiritually, by a seventeenth century witch who has her eyes and mouth sewn shut.
I am skeptical, as always, about the use of witches in horror - or any genre, really - but the premise sounds pretty amazing anyway. Good blend of classical horror and technology. And also, @barbaricyip and @coolkidroland, if you aren’t already familiar with this books, you may want to look into it.
