You need to understand something. Not all love stories are going to be perfect. Not all stories are going to end the way you want it.
It might have been awkward and uncomfortable to watch because you know the characters are doing something stupid BUT, that’s how life is: people do stupid stuff. Think about it:
if your life was a tv show: what would people be screaming at their tv about what your doing?
They’re not going to give us the cheesy, sugar coated, ending. They’re going to give you the ending that would happen, for real.
(Even though I don’t think I would confuse a wax figure with a human but besides the point)
If my crush was a statue I probably would have confessed my feelings of some sort (lol wouldn’t have kissed him tho). And he would of said the same thing that Adrien did. And I know it’s a completely different situation because we’re not superheroes and I’m not in some love square but whatever
THE POINT IM MAKING is that life ISN’T SUGARCOATED, so why should this cartoon portray that?
