"You don't regret it, do you?" "What, giving up teaching?" "No, leaving United Nations Intelligence Taskforce." "No, my blood and thunder days are long past" #battlefield #doctorwho #thebrigadier #doris #classicdoctorwho #nickcourtney https://www.instagram.com/p/B-wReCbDBZI/?igshid=szjo098wymtr
All this talk of #nickcourtney on twitter with @0tralala has made me want to update my last #thebrigadier drawing. I must say, I rather like it! #doctorwho #doctorwhoart https://www.instagram.com/p/B03ygePjHfq/?igshid=gfsq9x6d3r6a
I've been talking about the Brig on Twitter and it made me wanna draw him for practice. :D #TheBrigadier #thebrigadier #drwho #drwhoart #doctorwho #nicholascourtney #thebrig #fanart #unit #doctorwhounit (at Bristol, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpDXkiAA2Uf/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=vwovm1ifhpps
I’m putting this up again because I showed it to a dear friend of Nick Courtney last night and he looked like he was going to cry, and then talked about him for a good hour and honestly, I love how art gives us a reason to remember and respond emotionally #doctorwhoart #doctorwho #nicholascourtney #TheBrigadier https://www.instagram.com/p/BnN5J5-hjLa/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ppwo8ryt57nj

I would’ve given all my G.I. Joe’s and transformers, and most of my he-man toys just to have this collection and set when I was a child #doctorwho #jonpertwee #sarahjanesmith #elisabethsladen #thebrigadier #nicholascourtney #actionfigures https://www.instagram.com/p/CQKFyyWDaxg/?utm_medium=tumblr
Lethbridge-Stewart “Times Squared” by Rick Cross
From the classic era of Doctor Who comes one of the most enduring characters in that universe besides The Doctor themselves, on their own: Brigadier Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart. It’s the late 1960s and the Brig hopes for a nice vacation in New York City with his fiancée and teenaged pseudo-nephew. It doesn’t take long before he’s knee-deep in fetid subway tunnel sewage armed with a broken furniture leg trying to foil an old enemy from hatching a devious scheme. We get a scrum breaking out at a Vietnam war protest outside a famous hotel in Manhattan. Someone takes shelter in a phone booth — not the time-travelling kind. Fire trucks. The period, texture and motion of the city flow just right, then into what every New Yorker really wants in speculative-fic taking place in the city: Psychotic possessed rats. How about a “cresting wave of nearly 100,000 rats sluicing down West 37th Street”. Thought so. Like your favorite pizza place, Times Squared delivers. It’s a New York slice of mystery-action-fantasy-horror for your inner UNIT.
I can't hack it guys, im too tired to stay up all night. But...I did the thing. #DoctorWhoOnTwitch #PlanetoftheSpiders #DoctorWho #SarahJaneSmith #ThirdDoctor #JonPertwee #TheBrigadier #ElisabethSladen
